My Dear friend,
This probably will be handed thee by
our much valued friend, Rowland Green who is going
on a religious Visit to the state of Ohio, & will no
doubt reach your,(as wherever you have been situated
it has been so) hospitable Mansion, he is a dear
friend, & claims the sympathy of the Living amongst us-
such only can participate or dip into the exercises of a
spiritual traveller, he leaveth a faithful & affectionate
Wife, & a large family of 12 Children, & many endearing
connections, & friends, some of whom will I Trust
frequently remember him, & crave his presentation,
Oh the few, the very few, comparatively speaking-
that are thus concerned, thus engaged, to spend & be spent
for the good of mankind, to restore if possible fallen
Man, & bring them to an acquaintance with their
Maker, with the saving power, of redeeming Love
the which, I believe very many are strangers to
Altho the inviting language is, "come unto me
& be ye saved, all the ends of the Earth, I need
now however, I will on this, but it occurred, does thy
health my beloved Charity continue to improve, also thy
dear T Rs - & does your new residence feel a pleasant
home to you- I cannot help hoping that it will not be
a very permanent one. this is selfish I know, but
I will not hope so, unless thy health is so far Establish=
=ed as to render it desirable to thyself. as thou per=
=haps hears frequently from thy connections. this way,
I can say nothing that will be interesting concerning
them, thy Brothers, Sammy & W. Rotch were with
us, one night, on their return from the Quarterly Meeting
their families were at that time as well as usual-
Dear Sarah Arnolds health about the same as when
thou saw her, friends of thy acquaintance here-
are generally pretty well, my Father is bravely for him
thy poor little friend often feels the want of Aid & help
