    Respected friend I have heard agrate deel about
  the State of Ohio som gives it a grate name and
    some dypresses it as much and I having some
  aquaintance with thy Brother William I take
  the freedom to rite aline to the [illegible] the
  to inform me by male and give me a Dyscription
  of them parts aspecially of Salum for I have herd
  that Caleb Macombor a friend at the Jerseys thought
  that a place for friends to settle I should like to know
  the price of Land, and the helthyness of the Countery
  and produce and whether thou thinkest it any Better
  for a fermer there then in these parts and whether
  there is Danger of mooving there know on the 
  acount of ingions and in so doing thou wilt ablige
  thy frind and how it is on the acount of meetings.
  I shold wish to purchases 1000 acres of Land for I have
  a grate family of suns sum of them married
  I can inform the[illegible] I am Brother
  to Robert allmy Wife at New Bedford and now
  liv in the north Est Corner of the State of New York
  in the County of Clinton and town of Peru
  peru 25 of 18 month AD 1812 from thy friend.
