I may inform thee my family is well
at present. I should
be gratify'd in receiving a few lines from
thee informing how you got home also of thy jour-
ney to short creek, what kind of a shed they are
like to provide for the yearly meeting also how
thy Sheep comes in I was fearful
when I was down they would trust too much
to the woods for pasture and I could see but
little to be got in their woods, I admir'd to see
them so bare and different from ours, and
notwithstanding they jeer us so much about
our Beach woods it is my belief sheep and
Cattle do as well here as there, I have been
thinking of thy prospect of puting out thy sheep
in future and fear the fate of last winter
will discourage people in taking them at
that lay it so I can spare 10 Ton of clover
hay well made and stack'd and will take
five dollars per ton if us'd on my premises
