Rural Harmony June 29th
My much esteem'd Friends
I wrote you a few days since
by Mail, but tis so long before it reaches Kendal
I thought it best as Mr M Coy would wait a few
moments to write again, T Taylor recd by the
mail a letter from C R Sons informing him that
Mr Duncan wish'd to purchase that house in
Kendal, and wanted an answer immediately--
I therefore request the favour of you to inform
me if you think the person you talk'd of would
really wish to purchase it or not, I was in hopes
you would be willing to take it, and would now
make [illegible] an offer which I fancy will be con
sidered as low as I could possibly sell it for, and then
mentioning to me, I am perfectly willing you
should have the house, for the demand you
have against the Estate, and the account Wm R.
Dickinson holds against it.
