Full Text	A-109-6 Bridgeport August 31st 1819 Respected Friend Thomas Rotch Since I wrote thee last I sent my Son to washington with an order for the Box of Cloth & D Shields said there was no such Box there but a Box of Ma- chine Cards for Wm Cox so he did not get it now I suppose the Cloth has been Packed in a Box that once had Cards in it, and the Inscription still remains on it - but if thou will give Elie Haines an order for the Box the Difficulty may be overcome & he can get it on his Return from the Yearly Meeting the River is still too low to send on the stoves.
