We recd thy acceptable letter
of the 26th 4 ult since our Dr Father left us
with Mother Rotch Thomas & Mary for Phila
to attend Joseph's marriage; & our much
gratified to hear of your health; & particu
larly that aunt has so much improved
in health since her residence at Ohio. our
friends here are all nearly in usual health
Uncle & Aunt Dean, are at present with us
as are William Rodman & Wife.
To close the concern in the Barclay
have concluded to Cr $2000 for thy Quarter
we notice thy remarks respecting money
Impress'd with a belief however that, as
times now see it behooves us to lessen, rather
than increase responsibilities, we should
prefer to have the amt of thy funds placed
to thy Cr. at one of the Banks, we could do
it equally well at Phila or NYork, when
thou couldst avail of them in such [illegible]
& at such time as shall be most convenient.
