my dear Son Thomas
I recd thine of the 16 as is probable
we shall make some alteration in the Closets of our House
if it depends on the Stuff that they want to borrow for the
Meetg house sashes; it will not go to part with it, but if
clear of that, and not likely to be soon wanted, they can
have it, which I have to thee to judge of.
I am quite at a loss how to decide on the Spot for the Meetg
house, I rather lean toward Wms judgment, for although setting in
the back lot will advance Hemptons land; will there not be
from present appearances purchasers sent for all ours at their
full value, if not and the settlements are more likely to be on
H s land than ours by the Mg House being plac d by his land,
it will then be most for our Interest to give up the front lot,
or if it will hasten the opening of Market Street up to the
[illegible] Road; if that will be such a add[illegible] loss to us it
[illegible] consideration [illegible] of that street
