My dear Uncle
Before this reaches thee, I presume
thou wilt have received Uncle Fisher's letter informing
thee of the indisposition of his wife, my beloved,
Aunt Hannah Fisher at his request, it now be-
comes my painful duty to convey to her absent
relatives an account of the affecting result - On the
morning of seventh day her disorder changed alarmingly
& yesterday at about 20 minutes past six o clock all
her purified spirit left its feeble tenement tot join the
assembly of the Faithful." Sensible(as I understand) to
the last,she took affectionate leave of her husband &
children & died in full confidence of a happy immortality;
My family have been in Burlington during the hot
weather & I have been but little in the City, and it
was only on Seventh day eveng last that we learned
our dear departed relative was seriously indisposed. last

present unable to give you any of the interesting par-
ticulars of the last moments - Uncle Fisher intended
