At our Cousin Jacob Barkers - New York 11 mo 7 1820
My beloved brother & Sister -
I only write to say I am rejoiced
to hear thou & Sister Charity were at Pittsburgh on the 20th
11th on your way to Philadelphia - and to express a hope that
we may see you here before we set off for New Bedford -
which will not be before Sixth day next by the Steam
Boat at 6 O Clock if we hear from you that you
intend to be here any day this week we shall wait for
the Steam Boat on Second day next - for the [illegible]
pleasure of embracing you therefore please to send me
a time by the first post after your arrival to inform
us of your intentions that we may regulate our movements
by yours. - I have had an acceptable letter from dear
Sister Mary this morning by which I conclude they are
all well - I wrote a few hasty lines to announce
to you our arrival a few days before Cousin Hazard rec'd
brother Thomas's to say you were on the way.
I am with love to our relatives & friends at Philadelphia
your sincerely attached & affectionate
brother Benjn Rotch
