Thy Communication of the 3d Inst
I received yesterday, and it is with extream regret that
I observe by it, that there should be any cause of uneasiness
with respect to the management of thy estate,and that
it should be so set on float as to awaken fears of its safe-
=ty, when by the providence of thy careful parent
such ample provision was made for thee, whether in
sickness or in health, and whilst the trust of that pro-
=vision was accepted by me, it was scrupulously fulfilled
in every respect ot eh best of my knowledge feeling sensibly
the confidence reposed, and when it was no longer convenient
for me to hold that trust, I was precise in having the sentimen=
=ts of some of thy nearest friends and relatives (heirs to the same es=
=tate) which being corroborant with thy request,I thought
it proper to transfer the trust to the person named and
approved of by thyself & Friends having no other Object in
so doing than that of thy interest by transfering the power to
a person residing near the estate in Jersey, and better qualified
to discharge the trust. The account with me is now closed.

receipts correspondant therewith signed, returned, and the rect
thereof acknowledged. And there only remained for me to be
informed of the acceptance of the Trust and of the recording
of the same, this I had looked for untill it became an anxious
enquiring in my mind, insomuch that my inclination would
