Dear Friend
I have written to James Duncan by this
Mail and it is of importance to me that
he should immediately receive my letter-
you will be surprized on hearing from
me at this place. I came here by the
way of Zanesville and Columbus and it
is my present intention to go to Sandusky
to take the steam Boat which leaves
there on the 25th in the afternoon - this
will prevent my having the pleasure of
making you a visit - I directed a letter
to be sent to you care from my family
at Tewkesbury - should there by such
