Esteemed Friend
Thomas Rotch
I May inform thee taht I
have complyed with thy request in part resp-
ecting the money sent by Samuel, David Walton
also
is paid and the due bill I have - I have^ wrote
to Zeacheus Test that thou sent the
mony for him and I requested him to come
and see me in order to have thy note
taken up and when that is done I shall
endevour to take care of the said note
and due bill until a suitable conveyance
it may be that I shall carry them to Kendal
myself but that I leave at present as it
seems to be my lot to see but very little at
present more than when I have taken one step
to take another and oh, that I may with thy
steps
self be favored to make strait^ in all our
stepings along I know not neither have I any
cause for thinking that it is otherwise with
thee but so it came into my mind and I
will
hope it^ do no harm but be like a broken
hint from a poor brother that wishes for
the prosperity of truth every where and
that you little few may be as lights
to those round about and thee and thy dear
wife be as a father and mother to the little
flock
