Richard Breed Arrived home the
7th Instant in good health and from the description they
give of the Country and the prospect of my
bettering myself I have concldued to remove and
settle in the town of Kendal or its Neighbourhood
and shall feel myself much obliged to thee for
thy advice respecting my Removal and what articles
of Furniture will be proper for me to bring from here.
Please to let me know whether I can get
suitable tools for the Blacksmiths Business such as
anvils vices and Bellows Anvils here are worth 11.per lb
20. pr lb Bellows new $30 - if thee can procure
the above named articles at a fair price I wish
thee to Purchase them for me.
Please to give me the price of Barr iron and
Steel and whether it can be got at all times
without much difficulty.
Please to give me the price of work per lb
and the quantity of iron I shall be likely to
work in a year and whether I can get a house for
my Family an a Shop to work in-
