A cousin of mine, by the name of Richard
Breed, being about to set out for the western country
to seek a settlement for himself and will prob-
ably pass thro' your place, and being a stranger
to the country, I take the liberty to mention
the circumstance to thee, believing that any
advice or information thou canst afford him
in the case will be acceptable to him. He
proposes to see the country as far as Cincinnati, or
beyond - He is a member of our Society, and
probably would have a choice to settle among
friends, and I know it is the desire of his
friend that he should do so. - One or tow
others are going with him, who are not members
of our society. Such advice as thou can give
will not only be acceptable to him, but
grateful to his friends.
