Worthy Sir
I received yours of the 26th which
informed me the intreagueing meathod
Pitcher took to sell you a Machine -
but believe me when I tell you that
E. Pitcher has no more right to build or
sell one of those Machines than I have
to steal one of your Horses and is violat-
ing the laws of his Country as much ---
and if he was worth fifty Dollars after
his honest debts were payed I would prosecute
him - I should answered yours before
this time but have been waiting to get some
instructions from Philadelphia I have
orders to charge thirty Dollars to those that
uses Pitchers Machines I am under the
necessity of calling on a number of persons
which has payed from 100 to 120 Dollars
for their Machines some has payed me without any
trouble please to write whether
