  Dear Friend
  Thos Rotch
             This is to advise thee that there
  is a quantity of Sheeps Wool in this Town
  Imported from the Island of Iceland, Thou
 can be supplyed with fifty Thousend wt or
  any less quantity of the price of Thirty
  Cents pr lb. it is said to be good of its kind
  If thou should be desirous of seeing it I will
  procure for thee a sample of as many lbs as
  thou may request,& send it thee, & request
  the owners to reserve any particular quanti-
  ty thou may desire me to,I have no doubt
  of their complyance if thou wished it. - 
      Upwards of One hundred thousand Wt. was im-
  ported in a Ship owned in this Town most of the
  same is still on hand, tho' several Thousand Wt has
  been sold to the manufacturers in Connecticut &
