writing thee but put if off from day to day
without any good or sufficent reason, which

to had in good order & very much to my
satisfaction please receive my thanks for thy
attention thereto & command my services
in turn when ever thee may have occasion,
by accident I have heard that on thy way
home from Middletown thy unfortunate
met a wagging in the night when it was
to dark that neither could get out of the
rode reasonable to escape without damage
& that one or two horses were last in the
reincounter, therefore I have to request
thee will inform me the value of such
horse or horses & I will send thee the amt
as it is quite enough for me to have
thy services gratus without thy being
otherways damaged by serving me
I should have been better pleased if
thee had informed me the particu-
lars as I cannot consent for thee to be
a sufferer by thy Voyage to Middletown
