Obliging Sir
My Brother has informed me of
your kindness to him in furnishing him with
money - I very much regret that its not been
in my power to assist him [illegible] to his

no guarantee for him for such is my confidence in
him that I am willing to be responsible for every
engagement that he may [illegible] to you.
