NEW YORK, In observance of the Jewish New Year 5705, NBC presents "Behold the Jew", a half-hour dramatization of Ada Jackson's epic poem, on Sunday. Sept. 17 (NHC, '>:i)0-'2:'J0 p. m., EWT).
This special Rosh Hashonah program has been adapted for radio by Milton Gelger. Mrs. Jackson, one of Great Britain's foremost . poets, was awarded the British Greenwood Poetry Prize for 19-13 for "Behold the Jew".
A prominent actress will be selected shortly to portray the role of narrator In the drama- tizatton. The program Is pre¬ sented in cooperation with the American Jewish. Committee.
