The petition calls for the crea¬ tion of a special Intergovernmen¬ tal Agenc,y and for the abandon¬ ment of Immigi'ation restrictions to allow free entry of the refu¬ gees into I'alestine. "We failed to persuade Govern¬ ments to take steps to save the Jewish people of Europe", the ad observed, adding: "Now we must turn to mass action." Ap¬ pealing to the "con.science and humanity of Americans, the Committee expressed the convic¬ tion that the public "will not ac¬ cept a |K>licy ot inaction in a matter of life and death to mil¬ lions of people. We have faith that the force of your Indigna¬ tion will enable us to carry out the plans for the rescue t)f Eurt)- pean Jewry before It is too late." All members of the organiza¬ tion have been working hard to display their lalenls in handi¬ work, baked goods, paintings and other achievements which will be of Interest lo the public.
