"Follow the law and in¬
tegrate the schools, but don't
start forced busing" seems
to be the general consensus
of opinion in the Columbus
Jewish Community on last
week's court/ decision that
the Columbus Public Schools
are illegally segregat ed.
In a random survey done
. by the Ohio' Jewish
Chronicle, most everyone
contacted said they agreed
with Judge Robert M.

' is evidence of segregation in
the Columbus schools,
, "I hope the solution is no
worse than the disease."

The most' common

possibility suggested.
Dr. Banchclsky thinks that

A Columbus high school

Columbus Plan was only a
"hall-hearted ellorl" by Ihe
school board. "There wa.s no
all out elfort (by Ihe school

the schools racially

integrate Eastmoor but that
"other schools are not well
