Rabbi Jacob Tarshish of the Brydcn Road Temple takes this means of urginfi: all Chronicle readers to turn out for the big good will dinner at the Neil House Thursday evenin;;, February 24th, at 6:30 p. m. The purpose of the feathering will be to create a common meeting ground for Jews and non-Jews and to foster brotherly love and harmfony among America*^ citizenship.
Rabbi Louis Wolsey of the Rodeph Shalom Temple of Phila¬ delphia and Dr. M. II, Lichliter of the First Congregational Church, Columbus, will be the chief speakers. Dr. Tarshish will preside.
It is interesting to know that Rabbi Wolsey is president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, an eloquent speaker and one of the big civic leaders of this generation. He at one time was the best known Jew in the public life of Cleveland, pop¬ ular and beloved by Jews and Christians alike.
Dr. Lichliter needs no extended introduction in these col¬ umns. He ranks as one of the outstanding Christian preachers of (he land—si man of rare attainment, a scholar and a gentle¬ man withal.
