Chairmen of the Women's Di¬ vision of the United Jewlah Fund have formulated, with the Advisory Committee, initial plans for the 1956 drive. The Women'a Division never rcaVly termlnateB Its oqtivi- ties in behalf of the Fund. Carry¬ ing on this ycar ar-e Mrs. Ben Kahn and AJrs. Harry Getz, two of last year's chairmen; added to the chairman rank Is Mrs. Ben Yenltin. The 1966 campaign yefl^r will a- gain have the active participation of the Advisory Committee which is composed of previous campaign chairmen. Thia Advisory Commit¬ tee is unique ih that all the mem¬ bers arc still actively engaged in the campaign work. They give not oniy the advantage of their ex¬ perience and their Judgmeht but also many hours of devoted work. An additional Steering Commit¬ tee is appointed each year to form a wide community case for the total planning and enthusiastic operating of the Women's Di vision.
Meeting at the home of Mrs. Ben Yenkln on Jan. 30, WlUlam Kahn, In behalf of the campaign organi¬ zation, expressed hia confidence in the fine quality of work and re¬ sults that Women's Dlviaion al¬ ways yields.
Careful scrutinizing of former drives and techniques occupied the attention of the meeting. New plans, evaluations of Idi&as suggest¬ ed by national planning groups were analyzed. It Is the aim of the ohairman, the. Advisory Board and the Steering Committee to bring to Columbus this year a campaign that will offer the best results in dollars anid conta, especially due to the crucial events in Israel and in North Africa, and also a campaign that will have meaning and enrich¬ ment for the lives of Jewish wom¬ en In Columbus.

JOINT MEETINO OF SISTERHOODS
Mrs. Loula K. Goldfarb, president pf Agudaa Achim Sisterhood, haa extended an invitation through the presidents of all other local sister¬ hoods to their memberships, to be guesta of the Agudas Achim group at the annual Joint Sisterhood meeting Tuesday, March 13. It will be in the social hail of Agudas Achim Synagogue, in the form of a dessert tea starting at 1 p. m., with an Interesting pro^^ram and an afternoon of fellowship and friendship in store.
