55 Menorah Ball Sunday
All roods lead to Valley Dale Sunday night, when B'nai B'rith men and women of Columbus pre¬ sent the MENORAH BALL, their fund-raising project for 19 5 6. Pledge subscriptions have reached a. new high this year, and a capa¬ city attendance Is ensUred.
Dancing to Chuck Selby's orches¬ tra will begfin at 8:30, A floor show is scheduled for 10:30 p. m. With Sonny Mars as MC, B'nai B'rith will present the Four-Star Revue, featuring. In addition to Mr. Mars, Uie singing of Bill Boehm, the en¬ tertaining Musical Wades, and the mystifying Ravel.
Another highlight of the evening will bo the distribution of the 1955
edition of the souvenir program and recipe book, eagerly awaited and long treasured by all who at¬ tend the Menorah Ball.
Promptly at midnight, the name of the winner of the ten-day luxury Florida vacation trip to the Sea- view Hotel in Miami Beach will be announced, and some lucky couple will start to plan a vacation via

Since "B" Day falls-on the day before Thanksgiving, and most folks will be especially busy, Izadore Zeldln, general chairman, urges all mem¬ bers of the Jewish community to keep their appointments.
Every member of the Jewish community ts entitled to emergency blood whenever needed for every member of his family. Blood is available regardless of how many times it is needed. Because the Council ia a participating member of the Red-Cross program. Every¬ one is eligible to receive blood.
An added advantage is offered to all Blood Donors for this year's "B" Day. Charlie Ross, president of Ross Cleaners, will give certifi¬ cates for a free cleaning for any suit or dress to all blood donors for this year's "3" Day.
Tho Red Cross Bloodmobile will ho stationed at the Center from 12 noon to 6 p. m., Wednesday.
YOUTH CONCLAVE IN COLUMBUS
First conclave of the Southom District. Ohio Valley Region, of the Union of Orthodbx Jewish Congre¬ gations of America, will meet in Coiumbus beginning Friday. Nov. 25, and ending Sunday afternoon, Nov. 27. Friday and Saturday pro¬ grams will be held at Agudas Achim Synagogue. Sunday morning and afternoon sessions will be at Beth Jacob Synagogue.
Eight communities (including Co¬ lumbus), namely. Louisville. In¬ dianapolis, Charleston, Springfield, Dayton, Cincinnati and Zanesville have responded with largo delega¬ tions who are planning to attend. Rabbi Harold Cohen, national di¬ rector, will be a guest during the entire conclave week-end, as will other outstanding pcrsonajities from various parts of the country. Rabbi Cohen will take an Eictlve role in participating in the various program sessions, as well as help (continued OD page 4)
Troy Feibel Re-Elected United Jewish Fund President

Troy A. Feibel was unanimously reelected president of the United Jewish Fund at a meeting of its Board of Directors on Oct. 28.
Herbert S. Levy, campaign chair¬ man for 1955, was elected vice- president at the same meeting.
Other officers re-elected to serve in their same capacities: Samuel M. Melton and Samuel Shinbach, vice-presidents; Jack S. Resler, secretary; Abe B. Weinfeld, treas¬ urer; Jack Schlff, associate treas.
Richard J, Abel served as chair¬ man of. the Nominating committee.
Others on the committee were Allen Gundersheimer, Mr^. Milton J. Leeman and Fred Yenkin, Mr. Abel, in presenting the report of nominees, paid a tribute to Troy A. Feibel and hla foJiow-workers for their administration of the affairs of the United Jewish Fund. He stated:
"Each of these officers has taken leading roles In the campaigns of the United Jewish Fund and each has continued his activity through¬ out tho years. It is appropriate that Herbert S. Levy bo' added to tho vice-presidents, since It was through his efforts that the 1955 campaign was so successful. Mr. Levy had served as chairman of this campaign which produced a greater number of contributors than_ any other previous campaign tn Columbus,"
Mr. Feibel acknowledging his nomination, expressed apprecia¬ tion to the Board of Directors for their confidence in re-electing him and his fellow-officers for the com¬ ing year. He expressed his grati¬ tude to Samuel Melton, Samuel Shinbach. Jack S. Rosier, Abe B. Weinfeld and Jack Schlff for their willingness to continue aerving in
the posts they have filled during the past yeur and former years.
Herb Levy, In addition to serving as chairman of the last campaign, had previously been Special Gifts chairman and a leader in many community activities including membership on the Board of Di¬ rectors of the Jewish Center, the Community Relations Committee of the Antl-Defamatlon League and Jewish Community Council, Bryden Rd'. Temple, a member of B'nai B'rith. and served as president of the Winding Hollow Ck)untry. Club In accepting his election, Mr. Levy also acknowledged the wonderful support received, from the chair¬ man of tho various Divisions in the 1055 campaigns:
