Registration for beginners will be held open until Sept 20. Parents with children 7 years old aro urged to enroll them by that date- It Is Imperative that all chil¬ dren enrolled in the Hebrew School report to their respective classes Monday ond to attend regularly. It Is particularly important for ail the boys and girls to begin their studies immediately ot the Hebrew School so they can learn about the immediate holidays. The school's curriculum includes the atudy of the Hebrew language, Jewish history, Bible, Religion, cus¬ toms and ceremonies, prayers and aongs, and the preparation for boys for Bar Mitzvah. Calendar Tifereth Israel Men's CHub will kick off its new season Thuraday, 8:30 p. m., wltb a stag meeting, combined with a study-group for¬ um, at Broad St Temple. The forum for this meeting will feature a "High Holiday Work- ¦ shop," under the direction of Rabbi Nathan Zelizer, who will give the background of the coming holidays. The rabbi also will outline the order of service, with comments on, the reasons for the various pray¬ ers. In addition to the forum,, there will tie the usual cards and recre¬ ation period, combined with food under the direction of Irving Price. Admission to thfe affair is free to all paid-up members. Informa¬ tion on joining the Club may be hod from officers at the meeting, or any officers of the temple. FOURTH SEASON FOR CENTER PRE-SOHOOL JewUh Conter Pre-School opened its doors twice in one day last Wednesday, when it inaugurated the jfourth successive year. With the launching of an entirely new schedule, as well as precedent- setting personnel and program con¬ tent, the initial buses alighted in the morning at the Onter with groups of children and their teachr era; and other groups ot olderr pre¬ school aged cbildren were similarly brought in the afternoon. Registration aud enrollment in the individual groups reached peak proportions. Parents who. have not returned all of the necessary fornu attenil- ing registration are urged to do so Imniedlately.
