The holy privilege of setting the Agudaa Achim cornerstone will go to McHsrs. Hurry and Max Silberstein, life-long members of Agudua Achlm and among its largest ben^faclora. A similar honor for the Sil¬ bersteln brothers took place NaVr_ 23, 1047, when the cornerstone of the Kducational Building of hi. Broad St. Temple waa consecrutod.
With u profound feeling of gratitude for their.own good fortune, the Silbersteina, through generous benefactions in behalf of numerous institutions in our eity, have enriched Jewish life and made it meaning¬ ful. In a statement to the Chronicle on this momentous event In the history of Agudas Achim, the Silberatelns aald that their contribution to the new atructure was to carry forward the traditlona and lore of their parents. ''Judalam, aa a precioua heritage, can only aurVive if the great Jewish Ideals that have inspired us are curried on by those who follow," they atresaed. "The new Agudaa Achlm synagogue, through its many facilities for both young and old, will be a great step forward in implanting loyalty to our Torah and trHdltiona and cannot but prove a source of strength to the entire Jewish community," the Silberatelns concluded.

B'nai B'rith Picnic will be Fun for All
The B'nai B'rith picnic set for 12:30 July 22 at Norwood's Amuse¬ ment Park, 2025 K. Main St., was given further assurance of out¬ atandlng success by obtaining the aerviees of "Mike" Schwartz of the Jewish Center to plan and super- viae the aports and games at the picnic grounds.
Mike and the Center Staff have promiaed an afternoon of fun for both the parenta and children. Mom and pop are going to get a chance at some hilarious games. They might even take a crack at "broomstick baseball" or team up with the kids In some chariot races. The children are scheduled for a full day of novel and tradi¬ tional contests, including foot and sack races, egg toas, and even a p i e eating contest. Interesting prizes will be awarded the winners.
Richard Grundsteln, program chairman, pointed out arrange¬ ments were made to supply music In a shelter houae for dancing. The B'nai B'rlth picnickers will have the run of 12 acres of beautifully shaded grounds bordering on AJura (cvallDocd on pace 4)
