SCOPE AND CONTENTS OF THE SERIES
The series consists of the subject files produced by the Department of Business and Industry from 1996- 2006. These files include correspondence, memos, agendas, briefings, notes and publications and brochures from various Ohio businesses. This series also includes the files of Mike Koren, Governor Taft’s Executive Assistant for Business and Industry. In addition, these files contain documents of staff member Jim Samuel covering a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to, the power industry ( blackout 2003, Davis- Besse, etc.), attracting international business to Ohio ( Japan/ Taiwan Trip), and internal state department annual economic reports.
