Ireland processed the c o l l e c t i o n i n February 1381.

Note t o researchers: Prior to 1951, the Ohio H i s t o r i c a l Society
acquired the Kilgore- Shotwell Collection. During preliminary
processing of t h i s material in 1978, the c o l l e c t i o n was divided
i n t o the Daniel Kilgore Papers ( MSS 1 9 7 ) and the Shotwell Family
Papers ( MSS 2 2 5 ) . Researchers, t h e r e f o r e , a r e advised t o check
both c o l l e c t i o n s f o r r e l a t e d m a t e r i a l .
