SCOPE AND CONTENTS OF THE COLLECTION

The collection is comprised of black and white and color negatives taken by professional photographer Ron Groom. The negatives document 115 plays presented by the Players Theatre, previously known as the Players Club, of Columbus, Ohio. The plays represented in the collection were staged between 1967 and 1986. The negatives range in size from 35mm to 2 ½ inches. Additionally, there is one black and white print measuring 33 x 49 cm. that depicts a scene from an unidentified Player’s Theatre production.

ORGANIZATION OF THE COLLECTION

Negatives are filed in chronological order by the date of the theatrical production.
