SCOPE AND CONTENTS OF THE COLLECTION
This collection consists of 34 glass plate negatives measuring 20 x 25 centimeters. The negatives depict railroad tracks, cross sections of individual rails, views of a rail yard, pilings to support railroad tracks, buildings and street scenes. Two negatives show buildings identified as ‘ camp buildings.’ Two other negatives depict street scenes that have buildings with signs identifying them as the Rogan Hotel and Wells Hotel. One negative shows a railroad crossing identified as the “ C& O Railroad Flashlights at Pemberville, Ohio.” Another negative has a view of tracks with a Pennsylvania Railroad coal car. Three negatives are identified as the yard tracks, dock wall, and a view described as “ showing anchor rods” at Presque Isle.
